Dated Budget Planner: Budgeting + Planning in One Place

One of the things I love most about this planner is that it isn't only a budget planner and it isn't only a weekly planner. It's designed to bring the two together.

Because the truth is, our finances are connected to our everyday lives.

Appointments, grocery trips, paydays, bills, errands, savings goals, family plans—they all happen together. Having one place where I can see both my schedule and my finances helps me stay organized and be more intentional throughout the month.

An All-in-One Budget + Life Planner

Inside the Dated Budget Planner, you'll find pages designed to help you organize your finances while still having room to plan your everyday life.

Instead of carrying one planner for budgeting and another for your weekly schedule, you can keep everything together.

Use your planner to keep track of things like:

You don't have to use every page exactly the way I do, either. I always encourage you to make your planner work for your life, your finances, and your routine.

Choose the Weekly Layout That Works for You

One of the biggest changes I've made to the Dated Budget Planner is giving you a choice in how you plan your week.

For 2027, there are two versions:

Silver Coil — Vertical Weekly Layout
If you enjoy planning your days in columns and like having a visual separation between each day, the vertical layout may be the one for you.

Gold Coil — Horizontal Weekly Layout
If you prefer writing across the page and having more horizontal space for your plans, the horizontal layout gives you another option.

And for 2027, the horizontal week has been expanded to a two-page weekly spread, giving you more room to plan.

The budgeting system remains at the heart of both planners—the main difference is how you prefer to organize your weeks.

What's New for the 2027 Dated Budget Planner?

Every year, I look at the planner and think about small changes that can make it even more functional without completely changing the system you already know and love.

For 2027, I've added a back pocket for keeping those little papers, notes, receipts, or other items that always seem to need a home.

I've also added a new page before each month begins, giving you another place to prepare and organize before moving into a new month.

And if you already have Christina Loves Planning snap covers and bookmarks, here's some good news: your current snap covers and bookmarks will fit the 2027 Dated Budget Planner.

Make Your Planner Your Own

Planning should be functional, but I also think it should be something you enjoy doing.

That's why I love being able to change the look of my planner with interchangeable snap-in covers and bookmarks.

You can keep the same planner system while changing the style throughout the year. Sometimes even a small change like switching your cover can make sitting down with your planner feel fresh again.

But remember—the pretty accessories are the fun part. 😉

The real purpose of your planner is to create a system that helps you stay organized, understand your finances, and consistently show up for the goals you're working toward.

The video below was originally filmed using an earlier version of the Dated Budget Planner with the vertical weekly layout, so you may notice some differences from the current planner.

However, it's still a great way to see the overall budgeting and planning system in action and get a closer look at how the planner can be used.

As the Dated Budget Planner continues to evolve, the goal remains the same: to give you one place to organize your money and your life.

You don't need a perfect planning routine or a perfect budget. Start with the pages that are most helpful to you, build a routine that fits your life, and take it one week and one month at a time.

Happy Planning! 🤍
